Supply Chain Technician – Monroe

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Supply Chain Technician to process and distribute supplies and equipment to various hospital departments in Monroe. You will play a vital part in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely deliveries, and supporting the overall efficiency of the healthcare supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments, verifying bill of lading and visual condition.
• Maintain par levels, restock, rotate, and decontaminate reusable medical supplies and equipment.
• Perform cycle counts, end‑of‑year inventories, and assist with overall inventory management.
• Organize delivery carts, deliver supplies according to receiving reports, and obtain legible signatures.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs for non‑purchase‑order deliveries and ensure supplies are correctly charged.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in assigned storage areas.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; experience in materials management or healthcare is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license (required for operating a company vehicle).
• Forklift certification required within 30 days of hire for Warehouse District Row location.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on‑call availability.
