Supply Chain Planning Specialist (Tucson, AZ)

About the role

Sandvik Mining is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Specialist to support parts and services sales in the Tucson market. The role focuses on demand forecasting, inventory management and ensuring parts availability for both existing and new equipment fleets. You will work closely with Parts and Services Sales Representatives and customers to align forecasts with operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the Strategic Stock tool to maintain optimal inventory levels for unpredicted equipment failures.
• Support parts planning for new customers, new product portfolios, and new machine models.
• Collaborate with Parts and Services Sales Representatives to analyze customer maintenance plans and generate accurate parts forecasts.
• Identify inventory policy deviations, propose mitigation plans, and manage escalations.
• Manage replenishment of consignment stock using Sandvik systems and processes.
• Review return requests for compliance and impact in coordination with Inventory Controllers.
• Consolidate parts forecasts (maintenance kits, major components) at the customer level.
• Provide customized weekly, monthly and quarterly progress reports to internal stakeholders.
