Supply Chain Management Events Coordinator

About the role

The Supply Chain Management Events Coordinator will support the planning and execution of conferences, workshops, and other events that promote the university’s supply chain initiatives. This role works closely with faculty, industry partners, and internal teams to ensure events run smoothly and align with the university’s research and outreach goals.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all logistical aspects of supply chain‑related events, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual setup, and on‑site support.
• Serve as primary point of contact for speakers, sponsors, and attendees, managing communications and registrations.
• Develop and maintain event timelines, budgets, and post‑event reports.
• Collaborate with academic departments and external partners to align event content with strategic objectives.
• Handle procurement of event materials and ensure compliance with university policies.

Required profile

• Current employee, student employee, or graduate assistant of the University of Arkansas System.
• Ability to work on‑site in Fayetteville and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
