Supplier Quality Engineer

About the role

Rolls‑Royce is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to support and lead the deployment of its quality strategy for the assigned business area. The role is based in Indianapolis, IN and follows a hybrid working pattern with three days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Support and, where appropriate, lead the implementation of the Quality strategy to achieve business goals and enhance reputation.
• Develop and deploy quality capability, including skills, knowledge and culture, to meet future regulatory, customer and business requirements.
• Deploy metrics and key performance indicators, ensuring governance and support to drive quality performance.
• Interpret relevant laws, regulations and customer requirements and assist in defining compliance strategies within the operating system.
• Support the Assurance plan and work with risk owners to provide proactive assurance of regulatory, business and customer requirements.
• Travel up to 30 % domestically and occasionally internationally to engage with suppliers and stakeholders.

• Ability to travel up to 30 % domestically and occasional international trips.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model (three days onsite).
• Based in or willing to relocate to Indianapolis, IN.
