Supplier Compliance Engineer – Procurement

About the role

BETA Technologies is seeking a Supplier Compliance Engineer to partner with Materials & Process, Programs, and Procurement teams. You will onboard, assess, monitor, and maintain suppliers on BETA’s Approved Supplier List, supporting the company’s mission to revolutionize electric aviation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead new supplier onboarding, reassessment, and special process witnessing audits.
• Perform rate readiness and conformity readiness assessments.
• Clarify and assess aerospace and BETA quality requirements with domestic and international suppliers.
• Verify and evaluate supplier QMS and special processes, create and track SCARs, and collaborate on RCCA.
• Review supplier KPI ratings, determine oversight levels, and generate audit reports.
• Assist in continuous improvement of supplier management and supply chain practices.

Required profile

• Four‑year engineering degree.
• 1‑3 years industry experience in a manufacturing environment certified to ISO 9001 or AS9100.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

Required skills

• Experience with ISO 9001 and SAE AS9100 quality systems.
• Supplier management and auditing experience.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Office and Google productivity apps.
• ASQ certification and Six Sigma Green/Black Belt (preferred).
