About the role

The Supervisor, Remote Patient Attendant leads a team that monitors high‑risk patients through video‑based remote observation. This position ensures professional, safe, and responsive patient care while coordinating with clinical areas.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily department operations to meet quality, productivity, and patient‑satisfaction goals.
• Supervise, train, evaluate, and monitor on‑the‑job performance of Remote Patient Attendants.
• Audit and maintain department metrics, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
• Collaborate with management to develop, implement, and assess policies that improve care quality and operational efficiency.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and equipment utilization, guaranteeing adequate supplies and functional equipment.
• Facilitate communication between Remote Patient Attendants and nursing staff, including unit visits as needed.
• Lead onboarding, orientation, and competency assessments for new staff.
• Conduct shift rounds to address issues and promote a culture of safety.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a clinical or remote‑monitoring environment.
• Strong understanding of patient safety, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to coordinate teams, manage schedules, and ensure effective communication.
