About the role

Kennametal is seeking a Production Supervisor for its machining section at the La Llagosta plant. The role involves planning and overseeing all production activities in the machining area, ensuring compliance with global standards, quality, and safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise daily production activities of the machining department.
• Organise production schedules to meet customer demand and plant targets.
• Monitor production processes to guarantee product quality and specification compliance.
• Ensure adherence to occupational safety and risk‑prevention standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance and quality teams to resolve operational issues.
• Maintain on‑time delivery, product quality and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Higher technical degree in Production Programming for Mechanical Manufacturing.
• At least 5 years of experience in machining‑focused production environments.
• Deep knowledge of machining centre operations, turning and grinding processes.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with plant staff and cross‑functional departments.
