Superintendent - Industrial Construction

About the role

A client, a fully integrated real estate developer, builder and operator with a portfolio of multifamily, industrial, warehouse, mixed-use and commercial developments, is hiring an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on ground-up industrial and warehouse projects in the Greater Atlanta area. The role is full-time and pays $130,000 to $170,000 per year.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations from site mobilization through project completion
• Direct and coordinate subcontractors to keep production schedules and milestones on track
• Monitor progress and proactively resolve field issues to avoid delays
• Ensure work complies with project plans, specifications and quality standards
• Coordinate inspections, testing and approvals with local authorities and third parties
• Maintain a safe, organized jobsite and enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies
• Oversee manpower planning, equipment use and site logistics
• Conduct daily site walks and collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects and owners
• Use Procore for daily reports, documentation, punch lists and field communications
• Lead subcontractor meetings and keep the construction team informed

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of superintendent experience in commercial construction
• Proven experience leading ground-up industrial or warehouse projects; tilt-up warehouse experience strongly preferred
• Track record managing subcontractors on complex projects and delivering large-scale projects
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred but not required

Required skills

• Construction sequencing, scheduling, site logistics and quality control
• Inspections, permitting and project closeout coordination
• Proficiency with Procore and the Microsoft Office Suite
