Superintendent – Bridge Rehabilitation & Infrastructure

About the role

Freyssinet Inc. seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations for bridge rehabilitation and specialty infrastructure projects. Depending on assignment, you will oversee multiple concurrent projects or provide dedicated on‑site leadership for a single high‑complexity, high‑value project.

Key responsibilities

• Lead weekly planning, set production goals, and track progress through daily diaries.
• Allocate crews, equipment, and materials across sites to keep projects on schedule and budget.
• Supervise foremen, assistant superintendents, and site crews, providing mentorship and training.
• Maintain daily communication with inspectors, clients, and agency representatives.
• Own the QA/QC program, ensuring compliance with contract specifications and company standards.
• Manage site logistics, equipment placement, material staging, and subcontractor coordination.
• Perform risk assessments, enforce safety requirements, and escalate issues to Operations leadership.

Required profile

• 10+ years progressive experience with a large‑scale self‑performing contractor, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience managing projects valued over $3 million, preferably in heavy civil, bridge, commercial or industrial sectors.
• Willingness to work on‑site up to 100% of the time, travel nationwide, and hold a valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED required; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
