About the role
The Summer Research Intern will join the AIRLab under the supervision of Dr. Akbarpour to contribute to cutting‑edge projects in artificial intelligence and perception. This on‑site position offers a hands‑on research experience in a university laboratory focused on multi‑modal sensor data and robotics systems.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with software implementation for AI and perception experiments.
- Process and organize multi‑modal sensor datasets.
- Conduct experimental evaluations and performance analysis of robotics systems.
- Document findings and support preparation of research reports.
Required profile
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science).
- Demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence, robotics, or related research areas.
- Ability to work on‑site in St. Louis, MO for the summer period.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
