Summer Internship (Summer 2028 Grads) – Multiple Locations

About the role

NERA, an economic consultancy within Marsh (NYSE: MRSH), is hiring Summer Interns for its offices in Boston, Chicago, New York City, San Francisco, Washington DC and White Plains (NY). The internship runs from early June to mid-August, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. There is little to no travel involved.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build quantitative models and apply econometric analysis to economic and financial data
• Carry out valuation analyses
• Review, summarize and analyze industry trends
• Create trial exhibits and presentation materials
• Write code for complex data analysis
• Participate in client meetings
• Draft memos and expert reports

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in any major, or a Master's degree, graduating by Summer 2028
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, attention to detail, strong communication skills and teamwork
• Strong coursework and/or experience in finance, economics, accounting, statistical analysis/econometrics and computer programming are desirable
