Summer Internship 2027 – Data Analytics – Operational Excellence

About the role

Airbus Mobile Manufacturing Site is seeking a Summer Intern to join the Data and Analytics Plateau team. You will support digital transformation initiatives, work with cross‑functional stakeholders, and gain hands‑on experience in project management and data analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Support project governance, risk tracking, and reporting for digital initiatives.
• Engage stakeholders, acting as a communication bridge between data scientists/engineers and shop‑floor users.
• Map data flows, create dashboards, and perform exploratory analysis on operational data.
• Assist with change management to drive user adoption of new digital tools.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Ability to work onsite in Mobile, AL for the full internship period and without need for visa sponsorship.
• Strong curiosity, problem‑solving mindset, adaptability, and collaborative communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of programming languages such as Python, SQL, Java, C++, or Google Apps Script.
• Comfort with general IT tools and digital workspace platforms, e.g., Google Workspace.
