Summer English Teacher – Upward Bound

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Summer English Teacher to join the Upward Bound program at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. This temporary adjunct faculty position involves delivering intensive English instruction to high‑school students during the summer term.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English language lessons for Upward Bound participants.
• Develop curriculum materials aligned with program goals.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with program staff to support student development.
• Maintain classroom records and adhere to university policies.

Required profile

• Adjunct faculty status, eligible to teach at a university level.
• Experience teaching English to secondary‑school students.
