Summer 2027 Regulatory Affairs Internship

About the role

Stryker is offering a summer 2027 internship in Regulatory Affairs in Fremont, California. The intern gains exposure to global regulatory strategy and compliance while working cross-functionally with teams such as R&D, Supplier Quality, Marketing and Clinical Affairs, contributing to projects that ensure products meet regulatory requirements and reach patients safely and effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regulatory intelligence activities to monitor changes in global regulations and support strategy updates
• Assist with preparing regulatory submissions to register products internationally
• Shadow RA specialists during new product development meetings to understand the collaborative design and development process
• Support post-market regulatory reporting projects that monitor device performance and identify potential safety or quality issues
• Contribute to regulatory assessments and change notification strategies to minimize disruption to product registrations or approvals

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, with majors in scientific or technical disciplines preferred (e.g., biomedical engineering, biological sciences, chemistry)
• Must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, verified at time of hire
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and does not require sponsorship now or in the future

Required skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate and build relationships
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving and organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment

• Pay of $20 minimum to $35 maximum per hour
