Summer 2027 iPower Finance Intern

About the role

TotalEnergies is hiring a Summer 2027 iPower Finance Intern in Houston, Texas. You will support the Integrated Power businesses within the Gas, Renewables & Power branch, learning alongside experienced finance and accounting professionals. Your work focuses on refining and defining accounting and financial planning processes, and on streamlining and automating information flows to improve reporting, planning and month-end close.

Key responsibilities

• Project report automation: design automated reporting templates with Finance Business Partners and Asset Managers to better understand asset financial performance, and help build and enhance the rolling cash forecast for each company.
• Economic modelling and planning tool refinements: streamline enterprise modelling for the investment portfolio with economists and FP&A teams, and develop overhead platform forecasting and planning tools for department managers and FP&A.
• Financing facility administration: review and summarize the key details of financing facilities and hedging instruments, keep loan amortization schedules consistent, and build a financing library so documents are consistently referenced and available to finance teams.

Required profile

• Background in Finance, Accounting or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum 3.2 GPA.
• Fast learner, self-motivated, and eager to identify improvement opportunities.
• Analytical, highly attentive to detail, with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with accounting, legal, tax and business teams.
• Organization and reliability in handling time-sensitive cash activities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with IT tools and comfort working with financial systems.
