Summer 2027 Investment Analyst Internship - Real Estate

About the role

Almanac Realty Investors, a business unit of Neuberger Berman, is looking for motivated interns to join its investment team. The internship offers the chance to work with a leading real estate private equity platform in a fast-paced environment, with constant interaction with senior team members. The goal is to deepen research resources and support the team's long-term track record of performance.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to live deals, advance investment analysis and synthesize findings
• Prepare internal and external memoranda
• Conduct due diligence on new investments
• Take part in special projects covering real estate research, Almanac portfolio companies and technology / sustainability research
• Support fund marketing and existing client requests

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
• Expected graduation in December 2027 or Spring 2028
• Technical foundation in corporate finance, accounting and real estate analysis
• Minimum GPA of 3.5
• Authorized to work in the country where the role is located without current or future sponsorship

Required skills

• Quantitative abilities, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Analytical, detail-oriented and strong writing skills
• Ability to present ideas orally and in writing
• Initiative, creativity and research experience
