About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) offers a 11-week rotational internship in insurance, covering business insurance, employee health and benefits, retirement and private client insurance. The program focuses on the tools needed to build a foundation for a Client Management or Sales career pathway, combining real-world business, risk management and insurance experience with client interaction and professional projects.

Key responsibilities

• Apply classroom concepts through professional project work and client interaction.
• Work directly with multiple teams, learning the basics of insurance programs while supporting actual clients.
• Take part in engagement events and volunteer opportunities.
• Attend national webinars that introduce the industry and the organization.
• Build your network with your manager, mentor and other interns, and meet industry partners.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ideal candidate has completed two semesters of college coursework in a business area.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 minimum.
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. permanently and without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Some insurance, risk management or finance courses are a plus but not required.
