Claims Specialist – Business Insurance

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring a Claims Specialist for its Business Insurance team. You will provide prompt, accurate and courteous service in line with prescribed claims and customer service requirements, acting as an advocate and liaison with internal and external stakeholders involved in claim resolution. Face-to-face interaction with clients, service units and insurance providers is required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six to ten years of multi-line claims experience.
• Valid Missouri producer's license required (can be obtained after hire).
• Knowledge of Workers Compensation, Automobile Liability, Property and General Liability is required.

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management or a related field.
• Three to five years of commercial lines agency experience.
• Specialty lines experience and multi-state jurisdictional experience.
• Ability to complete coverage and ERM (Mod) analysis preferred.
