Summer 2027 Clinical Affairs Internship

About the role

Stryker is offering a Summer 2027 Clinical Affairs internship in Michigan, with on-site work. The intern contributes to clinical research programs and gains exposure to the regulated clinical research landscape through hands-on projects, mentorship from leaders and an innovative, teamwork-driven culture.

Key responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally with R&D Engineering, Project Management, Health Care Solutions, Marketing and Regulatory Affairs to support clinical research programs
• Perform clinical intelligence activities to understand available treatment options and clinical studies
• Accompany a Clinical Research Associate to monitor clinical data at clinical investigative sites
• Prepare literature review summaries of current clinical outcomes from recent published trials
• Shadow Clinical Research Associates at cross-functional team meetings to see how clinical trials are developed

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Research or General Sciences (e.g., Neuroscience, Biology, Chemistry); must stay enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship
• Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above, verified at time of hire
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and does not need employment-based sponsorship now or in the future
• Strong written and verbal communication, leadership, problem-solving and organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment

• $20 minimum to $35 maximum hourly wage
