Success Center Coordinator

About the role

The Success Center Coordinator oversees daily academic support activities and operations of the Success Center across all locations of Augusta Technical College. This role drives student success initiatives, collaborates with academic affairs, and ensures effective use of support services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Success Center, including policy development and staff scheduling.
• Develop and implement interventions to increase student success, targeting at‑risk groups.
• Monitor early‑alert referrals and coordinate follow‑up services with students.
• Collaborate with academic and student affairs on retention action plans.
• Market Success Center services to students, faculty, and staff.
• Serve on college committees and assist with grant reporting.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in counseling, higher education administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years experience in an educational environment with diverse or at‑risk student populations.
• 2–4 years experience in program administration and development.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows 8/10 operating systems.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with student information systems such as Banner.
• Familiarity with academic center management software (e.g., AccuCampus).
