About the role
The Substitute Publications Technician I/II works on a day‑to‑day or long‑term temporary basis for the District. This position is classified as an “at‑will” employee, meaning employment is contingent on performance and the District provides compensation only for services rendered.
Key responsibilities
- Perform publication‑related tasks as assigned by the District on a substitute basis.
Required profile
- Subscribe to an Oath of Allegiance.
- Pass a general tuberculosis examination.
- Undergo fingerprinting and a pre‑placement physical examination.
- Provide proof of identity and legal right to work in the United States.
- Comply with the District’s drug‑free workplace policy and pass drug testing.
- Possess the relevant training, education, and experience required for the classification.
- Be placed on the eligibility list by successfully passing all examination parts related to the classification.
