Student Transportation SUV Driver

About the role

We are seeking a safety‑focused SUV Driver to join our student transportation team. In this transitional position you will operate a company‑provided SUV using a regular Class D driver’s license, transporting students to school and related activities while progressing toward required passenger endorsements.

Key responsibilities

• Safely follow assigned routes and schedules to transport students.
• Conduct thorough pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a clean, orderly interior and ensure student safety during pick‑up, transit, and drop‑off.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, school staff, and supervisors.
• Complete trip documentation, incident reports, and adhere to emergency protocols.

Required profile

• Valid regular (Class D) driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Commitment to complete training and obtain the Passenger (P) endorsement.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and DOT physical.
• Professional, student‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance awareness.
• Understanding of student transportation safety procedures.
