Student Intern – School Performance & Workforce Development (Summer 2026)

About the role

Join the Northwest Regional Education Service District for a six‑week, paid summer internship (July 13 – August 21 2026). You will work four hours per day at the Washington Service Center in Hillsboro, supporting the School Performance and Workforce Development department in communications, education, or technology.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior staff with clerical and administrative tasks.
• Contribute to department‑specific projects such as communications materials, educational resources, or technology support.
• Perform data entry, document preparation, and basic research.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.

Required profile

• Enrolled student eager to learn and contribute.
• Demonstrated creative problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse populations.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word.
• Basic use of email and internet‑based applications.
