About the role

The Student Health & Counseling Center (SHCC) at Fresno State is seeking a front‑line Administrative Support Coordinator I to serve as the primary point of contact for students. This full‑time, onsite position provides a welcoming, professional environment while supporting integrated medical, counseling, and wellness services.

Key responsibilities

• Greet students and visitors, providing courteous and accurate information.
• Manage patient scheduling and maintain confidential medical records.
• Verify student eligibility, insurance, and immunization compliance.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, university policies, and healthcare regulations.
• Draft correspondence, standard reports, and routine office documents.
• Troubleshoot routine office administration issues and respond to inquiries.
