Student Ambassador - Leasing and Resident Relations

About the role

Yugo, a global student housing company, is hiring a Student Ambassador at its Tucson campus. Reporting to the General Manager, the role covers leasing and marketing while keeping resident relations positive. It handles apartment rentals, move-ins and lease renewals, lead generation and qualification, lease documentation and move-in procedures. The position is hourly and non-exempt, at $15.20 per hour, and requires availability of 20-25 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Greet prospective clients, give property tours and present features and benefits
• Complete applications, collect deposits and process lease paperwork for move-ins and move-outs
• Answer phone and in-person inquiries, follow up with prospects and prepare applications for approval
• Get apartments ready for move-in, orient new residents and assist with lease renewals
• Accept rental payments and support marketing and sales, including weekly leasing meetings
• Update reports, monitor market conditions and manage service requests and resident functions
• Keep the office and model apartments clean and open on schedule, and enforce policies and Fair Housing compliance

Required profile

• Some experience in an administrative role
• Strong customer service and communication skills, oral and in writing
• Proactive, organized and able to handle multiple tasks
• Resilient, adaptable and culturally aware
• Able to communicate with the General Manager and Maintenance Supervisor
• Availability for evenings and weekends

Required skills

• Intermediate MS Office skills
• Use of online systems and databases
