Strategy Consultant – AI Training & Evaluation (Freelance, Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced strategy consultant to help us create realistic consulting project environments that will be used to train and evaluate advanced AI systems. The position is fully remote, freelance and focuses on translating real‑world consulting engagements into structured tasks for AI agents.

Key responsibilities

• Design detailed, industry‑specific consulting scenarios that include financial data, constraints, conflicting inputs and incomplete information.
• Break each scenario into discrete, consultative tasks such as market sizing, commercial due diligence, cost optimisation, growth strategy, operational diagnosis and benchmarking.
• Develop grading frameworks, evaluation rubrics and golden‑answer solutions to calibrate an LLM‑based grading system.
• Collaborate with the AI‑training team to ensure the tasks reflect authentic consulting problem‑solving and delivery standards.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on project experience at a top‑tier strategy consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY‑Parthenon, Kearney, Strategy&).
• Proven ability to structure ambiguous client problems, build financial models or market analyses, and produce client‑ready deliverables under tight deadlines.
• Experience presenting and defending recommendations in uncertain environments.
• Willingness to work with lightweight, non‑technical tools; no deep technical background required.
