About the role

Plasmidsaurus is building the world’s most efficient sequencing engine and needs a Strategic Talent Partner to create a durable pipeline of exceptional engineering talent. In this technically‑oriented sourcing role you will identify, engage, and nurture relationships with engineers before hiring needs arise.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with engineering leaders to define what exceptional talent looks like.
• Map companies, teams, and communities that produce top‑tier engineers.
• Develop targeted outreach strategies to reach engineers outside traditional recruiting channels.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with technical talent through conversations, referrals, events, and community involvement.
• Continuously expand Plasmidsaurus’ presence in open‑source ecosystems, startup networks, and engineering communities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical sourcing or talent acquisition for engineering roles.
• Strong ability to build and sustain relationships with high‑performing engineers.
• Deep understanding of engineering talent landscapes and community dynamics.
