Strategic Marketing Lead - Beauty & Personal Care

About the role

Brenntag North America's Beauty & Personal Care team is looking for a Strategic Marketing Lead in Houston, reporting to the Strategic Marketing & Business Development Manager. The role develops and drives the content and marketing strategy across North America, overseeing integrated, multi-channel campaigns focused on thought leadership, digital engagement and customer-centric storytelling. It is a hybrid position with less than 30% national travel.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive the overall content strategy, aligning it with business objectives, market trends and commercial priorities
• Develop and run content across email campaigns, social media, webinars, digital events and campaign landing pages
• Co-create content with supplier partners and lead the development of sales enablement materials such as brochures, sell sheets and presentations
• Manage a rolling marketing calendar and an editorial calendar aligned with industry events, product launches and supplier priorities
• Create trend presentations and turn market insights into actionable content, positioning the organization as a thought leader
• Track KPIs such as campaign performance, social media analytics, lead generation and customer voice, and provide monthly performance reports
• Work with sales, technical and supplier teams so content supports commercial goals

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of marketing experience, especially digital marketing including email, social media and content creation, preferably in the chemical industry
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or similar; MBA a plus
• Bilingualism in English, French, Spanish or Portuguese is a valid plus
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills, able to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms and website management
• Experience with Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Pardot is preferred
