Strategic Communications Specialist

About the role

Geotab is seeking a Strategic Communications Specialist to drive its communications strategy, enhance brand awareness, and support thought‑leadership initiatives. The role will work closely with the Marketing team, senior leaders and external media partners to deliver compelling stories that showcase Geotab’s IoT and connected‑transportation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute communications plans that align with business objectives and reinforce Geotab’s reputation.
• Manage media reporting programs, coordinate campaigns, and organize media briefings.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, analysts and other external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Marketing, senior leadership and external partners to ensure consistent, impactful storytelling.
• Measure and report on the effectiveness of communications initiatives using media monitoring and analytics tools.

Required profile

• Curious, outgoing and confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
• Proven ability to engage with journalists, executives and partners.
• Strong organizational capabilities and experience handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Hands‑on experience with media monitoring and measurement tools.
