Store Designer

About the role

David Yurman is seeking a Store Designer to lead the design and execution of its retail and wholesale environments worldwide. Reporting to the Director of Store Design & Construction, the role will guide projects from concept through construction, ensuring brand consistency and design excellence across new stores, renovations, relocations and shop‑in‑shop installations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop preliminary store layouts, feasibility studies and space‑planning solutions for internal review.
• Create schematic and design‑development packages including 2D CAD plans, elevations, fixture and millwork details, material specifications and 3D renderings.
• Coordinate design deliverables with architects, consultants, vendors and internal business partners.
• Participate in design reviews, present concepts to stakeholders and ensure all documentation aligns with brand standards.
• Support project delivery for domestic and international retail projects, including new builds, remodels and luxury shop‑in‑shop installations.

Required profile

• Strong eye for luxury retail aesthetics and ability to translate brand values into physical spaces.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for internal and external audiences.
• Detail‑oriented with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency in 2D CAD software.
• Experience creating 3D renderings and visual presentations.
• Knowledge of material and finish specifications for retail environments.
