Staff Solutions Engineer – Pre‑Sales

About the role

Omni is seeking a Staff Solutions Engineer to lead pre‑sales technical engagements for its AI analytics platform. You will act as a technical leader across the Solutions Engineering organization, helping enterprise customers unlock value from their data.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with sales leadership on strategic, complex opportunities and demonstrate the Omni platform.
• Lead technical discovery, product demos, and Proof‑of‑Concepts for large‑scale evaluations.
• Mentor and guide other Solutions Engineers, establishing best practices for discovery, demos, and POCs.
• Provide feedback to product leadership to influence roadmap based on field observations.
• Represent Solutions Engineering in executive‑level customer conversations and ensure smooth transition from trial to production.

Required profile

• 10+ years of pre‑sales experience in business intelligence, solutions engineering, or solutions architecture.
• Deep expertise with modern data‑stack technologies and enterprise analytics ecosystems.
• Proven ability to lead technical discovery and POCs with senior business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong consultative communication skills across technical and executive audiences.

Required skills

• SQL for analytics.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses: Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift.
• Data transformation tools such as dbt.
• Familiarity with BI tools like Looker and Tableau.
