Staff Program Manager – Military OEM

About the role

Moog’s Military Aircraft Group in Torrance, CA is seeking a Staff Program Manager to lead a strategic development program for a key military OEM customer. The role involves coordinating cross‑functional teams, managing program budgets and schedules, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of a program from qualification through NPI maturity.
• Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders across sites to optimize program success.
• Maintain and communicate program budgets, plans, and schedules for multiple initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to contractual scope and export‑control requirements.
• Manage cost and schedule performance while meeting quality and financial targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science degree with at least ten years of professional experience, preferably in engineering or program management.
• Six or more years of program management experience on development programs.
• Experience in fast‑paced, schedule‑driven environments, preferably on defense programs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance and access export‑controlled information.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills to influence across functions.
