Staff Product Operations Manager

About the role

The Staff Product Operations Manager will lead the scaling of manufacturing capacity and ensure production continuity for our electric‑vehicle hardware ecosystem. Reporting to the Electrical Hardware Technical Program Management team, you will coordinate cross‑functional initiatives that span engineering, quality, supply chain and contract manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of external engineering service providers for post‑ramp design, validation and failure analysis.
• Create and integrate sustaining‑operation and post‑ramp qualification workflows into internal systems.
• Proactively mitigate material risks, including shortage management, End‑of‑Life transitions and supply continuity.
• Oversee field‑failure triage, reverse‑logistics processes and the implementation of corrective and preventive action plans.
• Collaborate with global partners on design refreshes driven by feature changes or cost‑optimization goals.
• Act as the primary interface between Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Contract Manufacturers to resolve blockers and drive the operational roadmap from prototype to mass production.

Required profile

• Strong technical foundation in electrical hardware and product development.
• Demonstrated ability to lead outsourced engineering partners and technical service firms.
• Experience managing complex supply‑chain risks and large‑scale manufacturing programs.
• Excellent cross‑functional communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
