Staff Physician – Interventional Radiology

About the role

The University of Miami Department of Interventional Radiology is hiring a Staff Physician to deliver minimally invasive, image‑guided diagnosis and treatment across multiple campuses, including the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret interventional radiology imaging studies and perform a full range of IR procedures.
• Evaluate patients pre‑ and post‑intervention and manage follow‑up in the IR clinic.
• Supervise technical personnel and ensure quality assurance for interventional imaging.
• Provide emergency care and participate in the on‑call schedule.
• Consult on new referrals and develop innovative interventional techniques.
• Carry out administrative duties assigned by the Chairman.

Required profile

• Medical degree from an accredited (or foreign‑equivalent) medical school.
• Florida medical license (or equivalent).
• Board certification by the American Board of Radiology.
• Completion of an ACGME‑approved fellowship in Vascular Interventional Radiology.
