Staff Physician – Internal Medicine (Concierge Medicine)

About the role

The University of Miami Health System is seeking a Board‑certified Internal Medicine physician to join its Premier Concierge Medicine program. The physician will provide 24/7 ambulatory care to a select patient panel, delivering personalized, high‑touch services across clinic, hospital, and home settings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in an office setting and conduct courtesy rounds at local hospitals, skilled nursing, and inpatient rehabilitation facilities.
• Provide home health visits for homebound patients when needed.
• Respond to patient inquiries via telephone, MyUHealthChart messaging, and email 24/7, except during approved leave.
• Coordinate care with the Executive Health/Concierge team and ensure accurate documentation in EPIC.
• Participate in community outreach events as a UHealth ambassador.

Required profile

• Current American Board of Internal Medicine certification.
• Minimum five years of ambulatory care experience in executive health, concierge medicine, or general internal medicine.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and professionalism.
• Willingness to work shared weekend call and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the EPIC electronic medical record system (preferred).
