Staff Physician – Endocrinology (Full‑time)

About the role

The University of Miami Health System is seeking a dedicated Staff Physician specialized in Endocrinology to deliver high‑quality outpatient and inpatient care. This full‑time position involves direct patient management, teaching, and supervision of clinical staff across multiple campus locations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care to patients at UHealth‑Main campus and satellite practices.
• Deliver inpatient care at UHealth‑Tower and Jackson Memorial Hospital.
• Participate in the education and training of Endocrinology fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Supervise mid‑level medical staff and nursing clinical teams as assigned.

Required profile

• MD degree with ACGME‑accredited internal medicine internship and residency.
• Valid American Board Certification in Endocrinology (or board‑eligible).
• Unrestricted Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Commitment to maintain CME requirements and meet state licensing standards.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification if applicable.
• Valid DEA licensure.
