SR Java Backend / Full Stack Developer LEAD

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend / Full Stack Developer to lead the design and implementation of scalable services. The position is based in Whippany, NJ with a hybrid work model and is open only to H4 visa holders residing in NY or NJ.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based backend services using Spring Boot and micro‑services architecture.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and ensure their performance, security, and scalability.
• Participate in system design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.
• Develop responsive UI components with Angular, handling roughly 25% of front‑end work.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing applications.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Java (8/11/17+), Spring Boot, and micro‑services.
• Hands‑on experience building REST APIs and designing backend systems.
• Practical knowledge of Angular for front‑end development.
• Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
