Sr. Director, Finance

About the role

This senior leadership position sits at the intersection of finance strategy, operational performance, and business growth for a mission‑driven organization focused on scaling health and wellbeing outcomes. The Sr. Director of Finance will act as a strategic partner to the Wellbeing business, turning complex operational drivers into actionable financial insight that shapes long‑term direction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and analysis for the Wellbeing business, aligning operational performance with growth and margin targets.
• Develop and own pricing frameworks, financial models, and unit‑economics to support RFPs, renewals, and client proposals.
• Partner with Wellbeing leadership to track performance metrics, identify cost drivers, and drive efficiency initiatives.
• Oversee financial modeling for strategic investments in tools, staffing, and service‑delivery improvements.
• Evaluate vendor contracts and outsourcing arrangements for scalability, cost efficiency, and financial sustainability.
• Define, monitor, and interpret KPIs related to engagement, retention, participation, and profitability for executive decision‑making.
• Contribute to cross‑functional leadership teams, supporting strategic planning and business transformation.
• Support pricing strategy development in collaboration with commercial and product teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably in complex service‑based or platform‑driven businesses.
• Strong background in financial planning, forecasting, pricing strategy, and operational finance.
• Experience supporting commercial decision‑making, including RFPs, renewals, and enterprise client proposals.
