Sr. DevOps Engineer (GCP)

About the role

Intermedia is seeking a proactive DevOps Engineer to join its fast‑paced Tech Operations team. You will work closely with developers to keep our cloud infrastructure reliable, secure, and efficient, focusing on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and modern container technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to deploy and maintain application infrastructure on GCP.
• Develop and support tooling that automates deployment and maintenance processes.
• Use Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and ArgoCD to move applications from development to production.
• Support both in‑house and third‑party applications, handling deployments, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Write and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and maintenance.
• Provision and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Document processes and best practices clearly.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in DevOps engineering or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with GCP cloud services.
• Strong command‑line and networking skills, especially within Kubernetes environments.
• Willingness to dive into complex systems and ensure smooth operation.
• Understanding of security best practices and participation in on‑call rotation.
