Sr. Community Manager (Lease Up)

About the role

The Senior Community Manager (Lease Up) will oversee the daily operations of two or more multifamily properties, driving leasing performance and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This position reports to senior leadership and works closely with property teams to meet financial and operational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage property budgets by analyzing financial statements, market data, and operational reports.
• Achieve targeted revenue by setting rent rates, collecting rent and fees, processing bank deposits, and preparing monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor and contractor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate coding to the appropriate chart of accounts.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty cash funds.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, rent discounts, renewals, inspections, notices, evictions, and collection of late fees.
• Monitor market and economic trends to formulate short‑ and long‑term leasing and marketing strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multiple multifamily properties and leading on‑site teams.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other multifamily regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, create budgets, and meet revenue targets.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on compliance and operational efficiency.
