Spine Fellowship‑Trained Neurosurgeon – Minimally Invasive Focus

About the role

Ochsner Health seeks a spine fellowship‑trained neurosurgeon with a strong interest in minimally invasive spine surgery to lead and expand an ASC‑based spine practice serving the greater New Orleans community.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow a minimally invasive spine program within an ambulatory surgery center.
• Provide support for complex spine cases and collaborate with pain management and PM&R teams.
• Share call coverage at the quaternary care center with full resident and APP support.
• Engage in academic activities, including teaching residents/fellows, case conferences, and grand rounds.
• Participate in research initiatives and clinical trials.

Required profile

• Board‑certified neurosurgeon with spine fellowship training.
• Demonstrated interest and experience in minimally invasive spine techniques.
• Leadership experience and ability to build a new practice.
• Commitment to academic medicine and mentorship.
