About the role

We are seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to provide inpatient therapy at Kaplan Memorial Hospital. The role involves evaluating patients, delivering treatment plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve patient‑specific goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform evaluations and provide treatment programs to facilitate patient‑specific goals.
  • Assess patient response to treatment and modify plans to improve outcomes and maintain safety.
  • Maintain patient records in accordance with documentation standards and policies.
  • Ensure treatment protocols align with hospital quality and safety targets.
  • Adapt communication and service explanations to respect patient privacy and preferences.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

  • Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology.
  • Current Speech Pathologist license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA within two years of hire.
  • No prior work experience required.
