Speech-Language Pathologist – Independent Contractor

About the role

AIM is expanding its innovative speech‑language services to the Puget Sound region and seeks experienced SLPs in Tacoma to provide individual and group therapy in schools.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver therapy aligned with IEP goals for individuals and groups.
• Evaluate student progress, conduct eligibility evaluations, and support IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate communication strategies into classroom activities.
• Maintain accurate reports and records meeting district and state requirements.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Washington ESA certificate and SLP license (or ASHA CCC‑SLP preferred).
• Valid background check and driver's license.
• Willingness to travel within Tacoma/Pierce County and lift therapy materials.
