Specialist IS Engineer

About the role

Amgen is hiring a Specialist IS Engineer to support, design, develop and maintain software applications and systems, including Salesforce, PowerBI and AI. The engineer works with a team to implement system functionalities, troubleshoot technical issues and ensure the performance and scalability of the applications.

Key responsibilities

• Support, design, develop and maintain software applications and systems (Salesforce, PowerBI, AI)
• Collaborate with a team to implement system functionalities and troubleshoot technical issues
• Ensure the performance and scalability of the applications
• Own technical deliverables, identify and address risks within scope and escalate issues with recommended solutions
• Identify incremental improvement opportunities in processes, designs, tools, documentation or ways of working

Required profile

• Basic qualification: doctorate; or master's degree with 2 years of software engineering experience; or bachelor's degree with 4 years of software engineering experience; or associate's degree with 8 years of software engineering experience; or high school diploma / GED with 10 years of software engineering experience
• Preferred: experience developing, implementing, maintaining or improving software and reporting configurations, processes or lifecycle management programs
• Preferred: experience supporting technology transfers, new product introductions, site start-ups, platform standardization, automated implementation or process improvements
• Preferred: strong project management, communication, collaboration, technical writing and technical problem-solving skills

What we offer

• Annual salary range of $112,483 to $152,183 in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico); actual salary depends on skills, experience and qualifications
