Job description
The Specialist Business Consulting role at our Durham manufacturing site supports the MPS program by coaching Integrated Process Team Leads and Centers of Excellence, driving lean manufacturing, and improving operational performance. Responsibilities include developing sustainable lean environments, prioritizing tools for process standardization, partnering with shop‑floor teams to eliminate execution issues, coordinating governance metrics, and applying continuous improvement frameworks. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in business operations, engineering, or related fields, and possesses strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies. They must be able to communicate across all leadership levels, coach teams, and leverage IT and AI tools for data analysis. Experience in regulated manufacturing, especially biopharmaceutical, and a proven track record of applying improvement methodologies to achieve business results are required.
