Sourcing Professional – Buying & Procurement

About the role

We are looking for a Sourcing Professional to manage buying and procurement activities for our plant‑wide control‑system and condition‑monitoring business. You will partner with production, suppliers and engineering to ensure raw material and component availability while supporting our goal of maximum asset reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with production and suppliers to schedule receipt of raw materials, execute MRP signals and minimize line downtime.
• Issue purchase orders following sound purchasing practices and complying with company and government regulations.
• Identify material plans that do not meet customer requirements and communicate clearly with materials leadership to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships, track delivery and inventory metrics, and monitor corrective‑action plans.
• Manage engineering change implementation for cut‑over plans and coordinate supply‑chain activities with engineering and suppliers as needed.
• Ensure on‑time delivery to meet customer commitments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or high‑school diploma/GED with at least four years of experience in manufacturing or materials management.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Leadership and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Knowledge of APICS principles and material planning.
