Software Quality Assurance Engineer III

About the role

The Software Quality Assurance Engineer III will lead test strategy planning and ensure the quality, functionality, reliability, and usability of L.A. Care's software products. This role involves reviewing manual test cases, automated test scripts, and mentoring other QA team members.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in business requirements reviews and create robust test artifacts (test plans, test cases, automated scripts, reports).
• Analyze requirements and apply appropriate testing techniques for comprehensive coverage.
• Develop and present test strategy approaches, metrics, and processes to cross‑functional teams.
• Collaborate with environment management to prepare test data and identify test environments.
• Lead QA resources to adhere to software quality criteria, policies, and industry best practices.
• Oversee test execution, analyze results, and communicate testing metrics.
• Escalate issues promptly and support team members in issue resolution.
• Mentor and act as a subject‑matter expert for other QA staff.

Required profile

• Experience reviewing business requirements, system documentation, and project assets.
• Ability to stay current with industry test tools, testing approaches, and IT skills.
• Strong communication skills for presenting test strategies and metrics.
