Software Integration Engineer 3 (TS/SCI Poly)

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Software Integration Engineer 3 to assist with system design, development and verification testing, and to create system documentation and build procedures. The role requires a TS/SCI poly clearance and fifteen years of experience as a senior analyst on programs and contracts of similar scope.

Key responsibilities

• Perform independent verification and validation of installation packages, tools, software and documentation, including identifying gaps and working with the development team to resolve defects
• Build installation packages and create repeatable installation processes for system engineers
• Validate functional and non-functional requirements, write test cases and help update documentation
• Review project documentation and build procedures, and verify that security controls meet confidentiality, integrity and availability requirements
• Serve in a leadership role, guide development or engineering teams, mentor others and act as a subject matter expert
• Develop estimates of resources and schedules, recommend processes and standards, and present technical information to customers or stakeholders
• Analyze alternatives, design and implement solutions, and develop installation or build procedures and scripts
• Analyze and resolve performance issues and assist with integration test procedures

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information assurance, information systems or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Fifteen years of experience as a senior analyst on programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity
• Clearance: TS/SCI poly
• DoD 8570.01-M certification at IAM Level 2
