Software Engineering Intern - Summer 2027, Florida

About the role

Stryker is offering a Summer 2027 Software Engineering internship in Florida, open to students currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. Interns contribute to real projects, work alongside mentors and high-level stakeholders, and document complex processes clearly. The role targets students with a 3.0 GPA or above and authorization to work in the U.S.

Key responsibilities

• Apply classroom knowledge in a fast-paced industry setting and implement new ideas
• Network with key stakeholders and leaders of the business
• Join one of several teams: Advanced Quality (new product engineering), Process Quality (root cause analysis, CAD, LabView), Supplier Quality, Quality (post-market complaints and design changes), Research & Development (New Product Development and Product Engineering), Test Lab (design verification and prototype testing), or Manufacturing (fixture development and lean manufacturing)

Required profile

• Enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, verified at hire
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S., no sponsorship needed
• Strong written and verbal communication, leadership, problem-solving and organizational skills

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment

• $20 minimum to $35 maximum hourly wage
