Software Engineer – Remote Full‑Stack Development

About the role

JST is looking for a remote Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy new modules for a customized business application serving the community. You will join an agile Scrum team, work full‑time, and collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in daily Scrum, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Design, code, test, and document application components using .NET and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Develop REST APIs, database schemas, and UI/UX features.
• Perform unit, system, and integration testing; support client testing activities.
• Maintain work items in Atlassian Jira Cloud.
• Provide training and support for solutions built with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Continuously learn and share emerging technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming.
• 2+ years experience designing web applications, REST APIs, and database schemas with a UI/UX focus.
• 2+ years experience in software design & development, including Web Services and APIs.
• Experience working in Scrum or another agile framework.
